Paris Games Week isn’t really one of the premiere gaming events of the year, but Sony is treating it as such. The company has plans to provide updates on 22 PS4 and PSVR titles, as well as announce seven new games.
Fans wanting to jump in and see what the buzz is all about can tune in to Sony’s live stream beginning at 12 p.m. ET. Those who want to skip the updates on games we already know about and get right to the new stuff should tune in at 1 p.m. ET.
As for what we can expect I’m assuming we’ll see more of Spider-Man and Monster Hunter World, and possibly Fallout VR? As far as the game announcements are concerned I’m expecting maybe two or three titles to be excited about, with maybe some somewhat interesting PSVR games getting tossed in there as well.
What do you think Sony has in store for this event?
While some believe the moon landing was faked, others like Adam Conover are wholly convinced it wasn’t. In addition to the fact that 400,000 NASA employees would’ve had to keep quiet about it for decades, Conover says that the lighting on the moon landing would’ve been impossible for filmmakers in the 1960s to replicate. He explains it better in the video below, so hop on down there and send this to a friend who believes it was all something shot by a director on a soundstage.
For some, Cosplay is life. For a very select few, Cosplay SAVED their life. That’s at least what 21-year-old Anthony Durden is saying after he was attacked on the New York Subway. A man approached Durden and slashed him in the face. Durden, who was returning from NYCC when the incident occurred, punched his attacker in the face with a Naruto headband to fend him off.
The hit worked as the attacker fled at the next stop and Durden was rushed to the hospital where he received 20 stitches to treat his wounds. The NYPD hasn’t tracked down the attacker yet, but Durden says he does forgive his attacker for the incident…which only makes me think he handled the situation quietly with some Ninjitsu.
The whole ordeal sounds humorous, but the aftermath does not. Check out the full pics on Pix11 to see just how dangerous a situation this almost was.
Ever wonder how carnival games work, and how to scam them? Who among us hasn’t, and finally there’s a YouTube video explaining it all. Check out how to game these carnival scams in the video below, and learn to avoid the ones that wouldn’t work below.
Wonder Woman has made a lot of buzz over the past year and the franchise has seemed to gain a ton of fans after Gal Gadot‘s portrayal of the character. Those fans might want to check out this remix from Eclectic Method, which puts the sounds from the film to a nice chill beat that will keep you entertained throughout the entire video. Take a look below and let us know what you think!
I’m just going to warn you straight out, this story starts a little dry, but Adam Sandler really knows how to sell a comedic moment! Sandler tells a story where Dustin Hoffman (who stars alongside Sandler in The Meyerowitz Stories) accidentally snubs Daniel Day-Lewis in the best way possible. Check out the story below, which I think will give Lewis and Hoffman a good laugh the next time they meet.
Binging with Babish just created the Turkish Delights from The Chronicles Of Narnia, and while they look delicious, they taste like shit apparently. That’s super disappointing for me personally as those treats were one of the few things I remember from that film, and now I’m learning they taste like perfume?! The good news is you (not me I’m awful at cooking) can substitute ingredients to make them more palatable. Check out his video below for tips on making a decent Turkish Delight.
It’s been four years since it was officially announced that Michael Dougherty would write and direct Trick ‘r Treat 2. It’s been a slow-moving project and since it was announced Doughtery has been busy. He made the Christmas horror film Krampus and he’s currently shooting Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Well, it looks like Dougherty is finally going to get around to making Trick ‘r Treat 2! While doing an interview on the podacst Post Mortem(via Dread Central), Dougherty revealed that he will start working on it when he’s finished with Godzilla: King of the Monsters:
“My hope is that once Godzilla has been put to rest that I can dive back into [Trick ‘r Treat 2]…I would love to finish writing it in post-production [of Godzilla] and then I’d love to make it my next project.”
Trick ‘r Treat, is my number one favorite Halloween movie of all time. It is the perfect Halloween film. I’ve watched it every year on Halloween night ever since it was released, and I can’t wait to see what Dougherty has in store for Season 2. When previously talking about his plans for the sequel he said:
“I feel like the first film really just scratched the surface in terms of exploring what really goes on in the shadows of Halloween, and it was, for me, the first film is really just introducing audiences to the notion that, yes, strange creepy magical things do happen on Halloween and here’s a peek behind the curtain, and so, with the next film, we do want to peek behind the curtain more into asking why.”
We’ll keep you updated on the film as more information becomes avialable.
