The Brave Little Toaster is NOT for children. At least, that’s what this video alleges anyway as Channel Frederator makes the cast for the beloved animated film of the late 1980s. I personally don’t agree and think it’s a great film (albeit not my favorite kids film) for all ages, but I’m not really a cartoon expert. Hear them out and let us know what you think in the comments.
OK Go, whose relevance in music solely seems to rely on crazy ass music videos at this point, just found relevance again. Using a ridiculous amount of printers, and likely a small fortune of ink, these guys make an amazing display as they sing their new single “Obsession” for the wonderful people of the internet. See their latest masterpiece below, and feel free to berate me for questioning their relevance in music in the comments below.
In a feat one would only think is possible by a modern-day Legolas, a man has resurrected the lost art of turning arrows while shooting! This means shooting around corners, targets, people…you name it, and it’s just like the movie Wanted except with arrows and it’s not terrible. Check out the technique below, and give some love to Geekologie for sending this our way!
When it was announced Pokemon would be releasing a companion app to Google Home and Alexa that would turn the assistant into Pikachu, many wondered what use it would have. Now, thanks to this Japanese video, we know the answer is for stress relief. I gotta admit it’s pretty cute to hear two random Pikachu go back and forth! Check it out below and let us know your thoughts.
Maybe you’ve seen The Mummy, maybe you haven’t. In either case, all you need to know before getting into this hilarious video is that Tom Cruise lets loose one of the oddest screams you’ll ever hear in modern cinema. Trailer Blend liked it so much that they incorporated it into a bunch of other classic films, and the result is astounding. Check it out below.
Uma Thurman, who made headlines recently with her intense response to the widespread allegations of sexual misconduct in Hollywood, it at it again. This time, Thurman took to Instagram and sent a somewhat cryptic message to ousted movie producer Harvey Weinstein paired with a picture of “The Bride” from Kill Bill.
It’s intense yes, but surely Thurman has some real emotion about this situation and perhaps a story to share regarding these ongoing reports of sexual misconduct in Hollywood. Thanks to Deadline for the heads up.
By now, everyone is well aware that Justice League underwent some major changes when Zack Snyder stepped away from the franchise. Now, CinemaBlend is giving us a look at just how much footage we were shown that didn’t make the final film. Mind you, this is just the stuff we were shown, as it’s possible there was much more footage beyond this that we don’t know about. i don’t know about you guys, but this amount of cut footage almost gives me the same vibes as when Suicide Squad teased the Joker and he was in all of four minutes of the film. Obviously, this is different situation, but not a good look for DC to continue to show trailers that feature a lot of footage in trailers that aren’t tied to their final products.
There’s a saying that goes “quality over quantity,” although it’s tough to say how that applies to the news I’m about to tell you. As ScreenRant reports, before Aquaman releases in December of 2018, there will be seven Marvel films that release between them. For those curious, they are:
The New Mutants
Avengers: Infinity War
X-Men: Dark Phoenix
What’s the point? Well, beyond the fact that, thanks to Marvel, we have yet another loaded year of Superhero titles to look forward to, DC is only going to keep struggling to keep up with their competitor. Considering Justice League was supposed to be their tentpole for launching off a ton of other franchises, this is some poor planning on their part. What’s worse is that even IF Justice League was kicking ass at the box-office right now, DC still planned to capitalize on that success over a year later with a second film.
As much as I love to give DC the benefit of the doubt, they’re far removed from the days where the Dark Knight trilogy reigned supreme at the box office. If they continue on the path they’re on now, it looks as though it’ll be a long time before their cinematic universe is ever that good again.
For anyone who ever wondered why it takes so long for films to get made, this is your answer. The “crystal fox” has been showcased in all of 10 seconds of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and yet, look how much work goes into creating this crazy creature! Honestly, I’m a little disappointed the final version doesn’t look as good as the animatronic puppet, but I guess the CGI version doesn’t really look atll athat bad all things considered.
When Rick And Morty Season 3 concluded, I was ultra disappointed Mr. Poopybutthole didn’t get his story resolved. Apparently, Dan Harmon sensed my sadness because this short video about Mr. Poopybutthole surfaced on the web that will bring a tear to your eye if you’re a fan of the series. Watch it below, because I know you don’t believe me, and be prepared for sniffles!
