AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Vanity Fair Covers, Photos, and The Directors Tease Trailer Release

Thanks to Vanity Fair, we have four covers for Marvel’s highly anticipated film Avengers: Infinity War. They also released a series photos from a photo shoot featuring all of the main characters that will be involved with the film.

The four different covers highlight the Marvel characters who will be teaming up in the film. One Features Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) with Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth), who seems to have his eye and hammer back.

The second cover shows a beardless Captain America (Chris Evans), with Vision (Paul Bettany), Hawkeye (Jeremey Renner), War Machine (Don Cheadle), and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly).

The third cover features Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Black Panther (T’Challa), the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd).

The final cover shows off Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and Star-Lord (Chris Pratt).

You will get to see many of the other characters in the photos that were released. I’m sure a lot of these photos are previously used promo photos of these characters especially because Captain America looks nothing like how he’s going to look in Infinity War. It looks like he just stepped off the set of The Winter Soldier because that’s the version of the suit that he’s wearing and he’s not sporting the beard. The Civil War outfit had a touch of red and white. There are also a few other familiar shots of the actors in their roles. You can check them all out below.

The Russo Bros. also teased on Facebook that the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War will be released in days! Apparently, over the weekend, part of the trailer leaked out online. It has been removed, but so some of you may have got a taste of what’s in store.

DARK SOULS Gets an Amazingly Fun CUPHEAD-Style Animated Parody

I imagine not many people have been wondering what the hit video game Dark Souls would look like in the cool animated style of the game Cuphead. But, YouTube Channel 64 Bits created a short parody called “Cupsouls” which gives us just that, and it’s awesome! I would love to play Dark Souls in the style of Cuphead! It’s such a cool look and would be such a fun game, but it will never ever happen! If you’re a fan of these games, you’re gonna enjoy this!

STRANGER THINGS Gets a Radical SESAME STREET Parody Called “Sharing Things”

For those of you who have been wondering when we would finally see Sesame Street parody Netflix’s Stranger Things… it’s here, and it’s awesome! The parody is called “Sharing Things” and this is the brief synopsis:

The Cookiegorgon has eaten everything in the Snackside Down and is still hungry! Will he learn how to share, or will he continue wreaking havoc on the kids in town by eating all their treats? Tune in to find out!

This parody is in all seriousness complete greatness! It’s an amazingly fun parody that is an incredible tribute to the pop culture phenomenon. If you’re a fan of Stranger Things, you’re gonna love this! It’s a cleverly made parody that lands all the jokes and nails all of the things that we love about the show. Enjoy!

Zack Snyder Supports The JUSTICE LEAGUE Director’s Cut Petition

Ya gotta love fans. Two years ago a group of DC fans started a petition to get Zack Snyder booted from the Justice League movie because they didn’t want him to direct it. Well, they kind of got their wish when he left and was replaced by Joss Whedon

Now that the movie has been released and some fans aren’t happy with the outcome, we have another petition from fans who are now asking for a director’s cut of the film from Zack Snyder to show us what he would have given us. They feel his vision for Justice League would have been better than what we got. Over 120,000 people have signed that petition.

Even Zack Snyder himself is showing his support for it. A DC film fan shared the Justice League Director’s Cut petition on Vero, where it ended up getting a “like” from Snyder, which tells me that he’d be up for a Director’s Cut if the studio would let him do it!

Snyder’s son recently openly accused Warner Bros. of mishandling the whole process of the film and blames them for the reason the movie wasn’t as good as it could’ve been. He says:

“I did enjoy the movie, although it is clearly not what it could have been due to the meddling of Warner Brothers and the forced comedy. The run time was my biggest gripe with the movie, with events that should take a long time over in a flash: but still definitely a fun movie to watch, and would recommend it.”

I’d actually love to see a cut of Snyder’s movie, especially with all of the footage that we saw in the trailers that ended up not making the final cut of the film. I’d be curious to know the direction he would have taken things. Click here to watch a fan-made trailer that features all of the Zack Snyder footage that ended up being cut from the film.

I would really like to see the studio let Snyder cut together his version of the film, but we’ll just have to wait and see. It could happen years down the road, but I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon.

Fellow DC and Zack Snyder Fan @fionadcpositive on Vero, is helping with the petition and Zack Snyder himself liked the petition to get his director's cut! Keep sharing the petition wherever you can! #ZackSnyder #TomHolkenborg #JunkieXL #WarnerBros #BluRays #ManofSteel #BatmanvSupermanDawnofJustice #SuicideSquad #WonderWoman #JusticeLeague #Scores #Movies #MovieReview #DC #DCEU #BenAffleck #HenryCavill #GalGadot #JasonMomoa #EzraMiller #RayFisher #Petition #DirectorsCut #Score

Trailer For Jodie Foster’s BLACK MIRROR Season 4 Episode “Arkangel” – The Key To Good Parenting is Control

Netflix has released a promo trailer for the Jodie Foster-directed episode of Black Mirror Season 4. The episode is called “Arkangel” and it stars Rosemarie DewittBrenna Harding (A Place to Call Home) and Bloodline‘s Owen Teague.

As you might expect, the episode looks intense! All we know about the story that “Arkangel” will tell so far is in this trailer. A mother’s daughter goes missing at a park briefly and she has a major panic attack like any mom would. But, this scare prompts her to take certain precautions, so she has something implanted into her child’s brain. I have no idea what this is going to do, but since this is Black Mirror, we know nothing good is going to come from it.

The tagline for the episode is, “The Key To Good Parenting is Control”, so whatever this is that’s implanted in her daughters head will give the mom more control over her daughter. Watch the trailer and tell us what how you think this story is going to play out!

Video Supercut of AVENGERS Actors Being Killed in Horror Movies

Before the Avengers assembled in the MCU, the actors who played them met their horrific demise in previous horror films that they starred in. A video supercut has been put together by Films Against Humanity featuring the many different deaths of these actors.

Witness the deaths of Robert Downey Jr. in Natural Born Killers, Mark Ruffalo in Mirror Mirror 2: Raven Dance, James Spader in Wolf and The New Kid, Josh Brolin in Mimic, Samuel L. Jackson in Deep Blue Sea, Scarlett Johansson in Eight Legged Freaks, Jeremy Renner in 28 Weeks Later, Chris Evans in Sunshine, and Chris Hemsworth in Cabin in the woods.

As you’ll see they all die in a variety of ways. This is also a reminder that a few of these actors starred in some really bad movies in their acting careers.

ROGUE ONE Star Ben Mendelsohn Wants To Play Doctor Doom and He Explains What Makes The Villain So Great

As you know, Fargo and Legion series creator Noah Hawley is currently developing a Doctor Doom movie for FOX. I’m sure there are a lot of actors out there that would be great to see play the Marvel villain, but there’s one actor that would be incredible as Victor Von Doom and that actor is Ben Mendelsohn

Mendelsohn played the villain in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the Netflix series Bloodline, he’s playing the villain in Steven Spielberg‘s Ready Player One, and he’s going to play the villain in Captain Marvel. The guy is an incredible actor and the fact that he actually wants to play Doctor Doom is awesome!

During a recent interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Mendelsohn talked about the character and explains what makes him one of the greatest comic book characters of all time:

“[He] is the greatest comic character of all time,” Mendelsohn said. “The thing that’s really appealing about Victor is the damage and trauma, the loss of the family, the wrong done to him, then the revenge and the takeover. Then it’s the protectiveness of Latveria wrapped in that Cold War vibe. What actually makes him great is his caring bit. That’s what’s great about Doctor Doom, and I just like him!”

While they were on the subject, Noah Hawley’s Doctor Doom film project was brought up and Mendelsohn was quick to let the host know that he well aware of the project saying, “Oh yeah, I’m aware of all this.”

It’s been previously revealed that Dan Stevens (Legion) is involved with the film project in some way, but we have no idea what his role in the project is at this point. Obviously, some fans speculate that he could end up playing Doctor Doom, but I’ll be honest, I like the idea of Mendelshon playing the character more.

What do you think? Would you want to see Mendelson take on the role of Doctor Doom?

This Drivable Replica of Adam West’s Batmobile Complete with Bat-Scope is For Sale!

Adam West’s Batman is known for being really campy (but typically in a fun way). If you are a fan of that era of Batman, you may be interested in owning a 1985 Chevrolet Batmobile Movie Car. According to the description it is, “1 of the authentic Gotham garage Bat-mobiles produced. complete with working bat-scope bat phone flame thrower Shutes.” That’s right, if this is an accurate description you can have a car with a bat-scope! Who doesn’t want one of those? It’ll cost a 199,500 and is located near Sarasot, FL. Would you like to own this car? Which Batmobile do you want to own? I want the one from Batman: The Animated Series personally.

Marvel Concept Artist Anthony Francisco Shares Alternate Designs For Loki’s Costume

Over Thanksgiving, while many of us were gathering with our families, we were also given a little treat. Anthony Francisco posted on Instagram showing concept art for much more colorful versions of Loki’s costume for Thor: Ragnarok. Personally, I really like the color schemes going on. Most of them are different from his black, green, and gold and I welcome the change. According to Francisco, he was asked to, “go as bold and colorful as we could.” I believe he accomplished it without going ridiculous and my favorite is the blue and orange one. Which costume do you prefer?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone !! Designing #loki costume for #thorragnarok was a fun challenge . We were asked to go as bold and colorful as we could. Channeling Jack Kirby hopefully. I did a bunch of these color variations. Do you guys wanna see them all? It's a lot of misses tho 🙂 ______________________________________ #lokiragnarok #conceptdesign #costumedesign #marvelstudiosvisualdevelopment #illustration #instyle #tomhiddleston

#lokisakaarian #costume #exploration it's not crazy as my last post but still could be just as unappealing for some. But for me this looked good. I was thinking of a quick simple variation because I have to do a lot of ideas. So for this I know #loki has always had the colors green and yellow (gold is a type of yellow) green was always dominating with yellow underneath . So for this I just switched them , a good technique for a quick idea. But it also represents his feeling of being turned inside out from the loss of his father (sorry spoilers!) You guys go check out @aleksibriclot version of loki design There was one point in our design searching that we needed to make loki a #warrior ______________________________________ #marvelstudiosvisualdevelopment #costumedesign #conceptart #bananasuit #yellowversion #artbook #thorragnarok #sakaardesigns #fantasy #mcu

This was one of my designs that @andyparkart (my Visual Development Supervisor for the film) sent out to the costume dept as reference when they started to build the costume. Costume designer Mayes Rubio and her team did an exellent job in turning my design into something that you can actually wear! It looked awesome on screen. When we design super hero costumes for the movies we always think of the movement of the actor and what they are doing for the film. This image was made a bit more realistic to hopefully show how this could be achieved. A-symmetry with diagonal rhythms, were my themes that i tried to incorporate in the #sakaar look for #lokiragnarok , this is to represent the idea that we dont know which side he is leaning on, but some parts of his costume is symetrical and has asgardian roots. So even when he looks like he is from sakaar, his heart is asgardian that is why i have that little triangle shape on his chest , which started as an L for loki but tilted to the side and then it just evolved from there. I tried to think of it also as a family Crest or a symbol of his name. He went through some soul searching and in the end he gets back his true colors! 🙂 Hope you enjoyed some of my thought process ! Thanks to everyone that watched #thorragnarok and follow my art! ______________________________________ #fashionista #conceptart #art #design #costumedesign #characterdesign #photoshop #marvelstudios #artbook #comicbookmovies #lokidesign #marvelstudiosvisualdevelopment #instagood #instart #infashion #trending #tomhiddleston #mcu #marvelstudios #entertainment @twhiddleston @marvel @fawnianewyork

#lokiragnarok – it was a great opportunity for me that they wanted to have a whole new costume look for @twhiddleston Loki! out of the many directions I explored for Loki's costume this was one that the producers liked , it felt the most Loki without being too Asgardian . And from this base I designed his Sakaar costume. I will post more on that so stay tuned ! But if you can't wait, head over to my Facebook page 🙂 Make sure to check out some more Loki designs from @aleksibriclot and more #thorragnarok #conceptart from the rest of gang in the #visualdevelopment Amazing #hela #costumedesigns from @andyparkart Awesome #hulk designs from @ryan_meinerding_art @jwsze memorable key frames #valkyrie #grandmaster costume designs by @constantinesekeris And more from @kortizart @ianjoynerart @rodneyimages Not to mention an abundance of talent in the #marvelfamily that worked on the film!________________________ #lokicostume #characterdesigns #thorragnarok #art #artbook #fantasy #scifi #marvelstudiosvisualdevelopment #instartist #instagood #fashionista

I am really grateful that @taikawaititi decided to do this version of #lokiragnarok helmet from the comicbooks! It's one of my favorites. I designed this helmet based on one of my favorite comicbooks #xmenasgardianwars ! @adamwross helped me with translating my design in #zbrush which was then sent to @ironhead_studio and from there we went back and forth with notes to guide the process as they finished the physical model. They did an amazing job!! It looked so good on screen. One of the biggest decisions I had to discuss with @andyparkart was having the ears be more seen from the front view and I am glad we did it! even if it's a subtle detail, I feel it helped us stay true to the comic. It was great having him there to be an extra set of eyes! I also did a bunch of color and detail options. How much is too much blue? What shape should that emblem be, that sort of stuff. It definitely was a challenge. _______________________________________ #thorragnarok #lokiragnarok #tomhiddleston #gq #fashionista #helmet #3dmodeling #conceptart #costumedesigns #costume #cdg #marvelstudiosvisualdevelopment #art #instyle #fashionicon #design #comicbookmovie #marvelstudios #mcu #characterdesign #godofmischief #fantasy @marvel
