RESIDENT EVIL 7: NOT A HERO DLC’S New Trailer Brings Chris Redfield Back In Action

chris.jpg

After a long delay, Capcom has already set the release date for the free to play expansion of Resident Evil 7 titled Not A Hero two weeks ago. Today, the new gameplay trailer was released and showcased RE veteran Chris Redfield as the main protagonist that will surely be nostalgic to long time fans of the franchise.

The end of the main campaign of RE7 showed Chris Redfield rescuing Ethan Winters, the new character introduced in the series, and the DLC will follow Redfield as he investigates the Baker Mansion. The three-minute trailer showed a much more familiar combat than what was experienced in RE7. There were an assortment of weapons showed, and some punching, that Chris is known to do, whether it be in the form of smacking bio weapons or gigantic boulders.

Though not much was shown, the atmosphere of the game is a little bit reminiscent of past titles, and gives off an “actiony” vibe, however, the expansion will still be played in first person mode. Not a Hero will be released on Dec 12th and will arrive alongside another add on, End of Zoe. Capcom is also set to introduce a Gold Edition of the game, which will contain the base game, the two new DLC’s and all add-ons released in the past.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Set Photos Show Evangeline Lilly in Full Costume as The Wasp

A bunch of new photos have surfaced from the set of Marvel's Ant-Man and The Wasp. They give us our first look at Evangeline Lilly all decked out in her Wasp costume. She looks great and I can't wait to finally see The Wasp in action! You'll also see photos of Walton Goggins, who plays the corporate villain Sonny Burch.

The movie also stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, Michael Pena as Luis, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, T.I. as Dave, Randall Park as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jimmy Woo, Hannah John-Kamen as the Ghost, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, the wife of Hank Pym, and Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster, who was an assistant to both Tony Stark and Hank Pym in the comics. He eventually takes on Pym’s Giant Man abilities and becomes a superhero known as Goliath.

Here's the synopsis:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: Ant-Man and The Wasp. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

I'm a big fan of the first movie and I'm so excited to see how this sequel turns out. Peyton Reed is directing Ant-Man and the Wasp, and it will be released in theaters on July 6th, 2018.

MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS Gets a Fantastic New Trailer with Lots of Great New Footage

A new trailer has been released for director Kenneth Branagh's fantastic looking feature film adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express. I'm a fan of the Agatha Christie's 1934 novel and I think this movie looks so good! I love this new trailer as it features a ton of new footage and offers up more details on the story. One thing that I absolutely love is the visual style and tone of the film.

The movie also has a star-studded cast that includes Branagh as Detective Hercule Poirot; Penelope Cruz plays Pilar Estravados; Willem Dafoe as Gerhard Hardman; Judi Dench portraying Princess Dragomiroff; Johnny Depp takes on the role of Ratchett; Josh Gadappears as Hector MacQueen; Derek Jacobi is Edward Masterman; Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. plays Dr. Arbuthnot; Michelle Pfeiffer portrays Mrs. Hubbard; and Daisy Ridley plays Mary Debenham.

What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told. From the novel by best-selling author Agatha Christie, “Murder on the Orient Express” tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.

Murder on the Orient Express is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 10th, 2017. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you're excited about watching the movie.

Director Matthew Vaughn Wants To Make KINGSMAN 3 and Some Spinoff Films

kingsman-the-secret-service-1920.jpg

Kingsman: The Golden Circle explodes into theaters this weekend and so far most reviews have not been too kind, but not horrible. The good news is, if you want more Kingsman in your life, you’re in luck because director Matthew Vaughn wants to make a third installment of Kingsman and then some spinoffs to boot.

Vaughn and 20th Century Fox are drawing up plans to make one more sequel before branching off into standalone character spin-offs. Vaughn recently told CinemaBlend that he has more Kingsman stories to tell:

"I think there’s a story in my head which will be finished by the end of the next one. And then after that then, of course, there could be Statesman movies, there could be spinoff character films. The universe could continue with new agents. Or, you know, Colin (Firth) could become Arthur (…) or new characters could come in. Or new kids get trained. There’s so many options, but I also think it’s better not to be too greedy."

Vaughn hasn't revealed yet which characters could get their own spinoffs, and there is also a possibility that they could make a movie/movies that take place before the Kingsman trilogy.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle opens in theaters on September 22. WOuld you want to see some more Kingsman movies!?

GAME OF THRONES Writer is Developing 5th Prequel Series

GoT.jpg

We've already known that HBO was developing a few possible Game of Thrones spinoff series, but now EW is reporting that a fifth prequel series in the works and Game of Thrones co-executive producer Bryan Cogman is writing a drama series follow-up to the cable TV blockbuster. Cogman worked closely with George R.R. Martin when developing the project.

Since GoT showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are not involved with the prequels, Cogman is arguably the next-best possible option for the show.

Cogman has been with Game of Thrones since season 1 when he started on the production as an assistant to Benioff and Weiss. Cogman has written plenty of great episodes along the way and ranks as the show’s third-most prolific writer.

Martin praised Cogman on his blog, saying:

“‘If [Dan and David] have been the kings of Westeros for these past seven seasons, Bryan Cogman has surely been the Prince of Dragonstone … Bryan’s series will be an adaptation, and one that will thrill most fans of the books, I think, set during a very exciting period of Westerosi history. And I’ll be working with him every step of the way … we could possibly see two or even three make it to the pilot stage, with one series emerging on air in 2019 or 2020.”

In a 2011 interview with Westeros.org, Cogman explained how he joined the series and described the first time he read A Song of Ice and Fire.

“I immediately fell in love with the book from page one, as most people do. It’s probably the most fun I’ve ever had reading anything. It’s inspired storytelling, that’s all there is to it, and the characters are so rich, the themes are so varied. I love it.”

Little is known about the story on any of the new GoT projects except that all of them are set before the events in Game of Thrones and do not involve any members of the current cast.

Game of Thrones is expected to return to HBO for its final season in either late 2018 or 2019.

Did Ron Howard Tease That The HAN SOLO Movie will Include The Famous Kessel Run?

26-ron-howard-donald-glover.w600.h315.2x.jpg

Since taking the reigns on the Untitled Han Solo movie, Ron Howard has been giving us plenty of behind the scenes looks without revealing any major story points. But Howard's most recent tweet might just be teasing that the film might include the smuggler's famous 12-parsec Kessel Run.

In the photo he tweeted, you can clearly tell its some sort of underground facility, or mine. Along with the caption "spicey" it instantly cues memories of the spice mines of Kessel from the Star Wars films.

In Star Wars: A New Hope, Han Solo brags to Obi-Wan Kenobi about how his ship made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. And since the spinoff film takes place before the events of the original film, it is very possible that we'll see the famous journey unfold over the course of the film.

Until the movie comes out the best we can do is make presumptions about these breadcrumbs that Howard has been dropping since the day he took over.

The Han Solo spinoff film will hit theaters on May 25, 2018.

IT Star Jaeden Lieberher Reveals an Alternate Climatic End Scene That Was Cut

it-star-jaeden-lieberher-reveals-an-alternate-climatic-end-scene-that-was-cut-social.jpg

During a recent interview with Variety, IT star Jaeden Lieberher, who played Bill in the film revealed an alternate scene at the end of the movie that was ultimately cut from the film. I thought the way the movie ended was great, but this scene actually sounds pretty climatic.

When asked what he favorite scene was that was cut from the movie, Lieberher said:

"I did have this scene where I climb up the tower at the end. When I’m chasing after Georgie, I climb the tower and I’m at a one-on-one confrontation with Pennywise and then I say that I’m not afraid of him, that none of the losers are afraid of him, and that’s how we beat him. But they took those lines and put toward the end, right after our big fight. So I had this whole thing where Bill Skarsgard is grabbing me and pushing me off the ledge, and I had to wear this harness. That was a more difficult scene."

That giant tower of stuff that Pennywise the Clown collected from his victims over the course of his existence in Derry was pretty cool and a little eerie. I'm sure there are a ton of Easter eggs in there that we can find.

I wonder if we will see this scene included the director's cut of the film, which will include 15 extra minutes of extra footage.

The actor was then asked who he would like to see play the adult version of his character in Chapter 2 and I can totally get behind his answer!

"I think Ewan McGregor would be interesting. I don’t want to offend him or anything, but he might be too old. I love Ewan McGregor, and I think he’s a great actor. I think he could play Bill very well."

McGregor seems like a perfect choice to play Bill. It's not hard to imagine him in the role and I know he'd be great. What do you think?

Jordan Peele is Developing a 1970s Set Nazi Hunter Series Called THE HUNT

jordan-peele-is-developing-a-1970s-set-nazi-hunter-series-called-the-hunt-social.jpg

Get Out director Jordan Peele has set up a new drama series called The Hunt. Peele is involving himself in all kinds of projects right now and this one sounds especially interesting because it deals with Nazi hunters in the 1970s.

The series is inspired by true events, and according to Deadline, the story follows "a diverse band of Nazi hunters in 1970s America as they set out on a quest for revenge and justice — tracking and killing hundreds of Nazis who, with the unconscionable help of the U.S. government, escaped justice and embedded themselves in American society."

I remember reading about this years ago and I always thought that the story would make a great film. Now it's getting a drama series and you can bet your ass that I'll be watching it!

The show is being written by David Weil (Moonfall) and as of right now no network is attached. This is a project that is currently being shopped around but it should t be hard for it to find a home.

I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of this series.
